My baby blog… I miss you xxx
…
It’s unbelievable the environment I’m living in! People are becoming more and more like robots, nothing spontaneous about their actions.
Why do some people have to ask the cleric about everything they did/do/will do in their life? Why are they so insecure about their decisions?
My family, of course, is dedicated to all clerics in the country. And what’s so funny about this is that each cleric gives a different answer, dumb? I KNOW!
It’s like everyone is checking their horoscopes and the Saudis are checking their clerics :|
“Me and my sister are not talking for months, is it my fault?”
“My wife won’t have sex with me, what should I do?”
“Is it permitted for the female to wear pants?”
what da?
Suddenly the cleric is Dr.Phil, a marriage counselor and a fashion expert all in one!

This week is a school break. What do people do in school breaks? They go out, they go shopping, they go to the beach, they have fun…
Not in my case…
Last Thursday, Mama packed and went to my sister’s house across the country.
What about me WOMAN? I, too, could use a time out!
I SO miss going to the airport, I miss staring at the clouds from the plane window and taking pictures, I miss reading on the plane (best feeling ever) =(
Ahhh!

I bought myself a small board to use while studying instead of wasting hundreds of papers every year. Sometimes I find it funny that someone like me cares about the environment! I mean I should worry about whether I’ll be going to uni the next day or whether I’ll be receiving an order from the “high court” to forget about uni…

Don’t you just LOVE Corneille <3
P.S yeah, I do “realize” what the song’s title is… that’s one of the reasons why I love it :P

Any where is endurable, but not here…
I thought of flying away, but the window was closed, and someone locked the balcony…
I do not mind cages; I grew indifferent to them…
Still, I believe home is a sweet cage… wed . 15/4/1428

Girlhood is gone for good, and silliness is still lurking inside…
A child cannot help being silly; a silly girl is always a sweet thing to behold…
But a silly woman is just silly, and no one ever taught her how to seize being silly…
So, hopefully time will teach her the things she should know though never told…

why do some people have more than ONE child when they’ll treat the other like sh*t?
why?
I just can’t help thinking… why?
It doesn’t make sense.
If you’re gonna hate the other then don’t bring it to your messed up world!
I mean why bother?
1+1=2… it’s easy!
Damn!

Watch these and try to give me ONE reason why I shouldn’t love this woman!
I don’t understand why, to this day, many Saudis do not understand the concept of rights. They don’t know the meaning of the word “rights.”
I believe that in general, for the Saudi woman, every day is a new battle. She needs to find ways to live on the face of this earth without colliding with the law, with men, with society, with the religious clerics, or with the political establishment. She is besieged. There are five types of shackles, or jails, for the woman – if she manages to escape one, she might enter another. The first is the tribe, then comes the family, then the religious institutions, the political establishment, and finally, society. Wherever you go, you encounter a battle.
We, in the East – and I am talking about the East in a broad sense, including Pakistan, Turkey, and the Kurds… The way I see it, these are all wretched people, wretched men. This is obvious. He who has nothing cannot give anything to others. These men have lost what could have given them a real sense of masculinity. They draw their masculinity from Islam, if they are Muslims, of if they are non-Muslims, from the customs and tradition of the very harsh society that gives men more rights than women. Hence, they do not draw any strength from within. In the case of our Saudi society, they draw their strength from the weakness of women too. Most women choose to be weak, because it makes their lives easier. The weaker the wife is, the stronger the husband feels. How can you rely on a man who does not draw his strength from within?
Saudi society is based on enslavement – the enslavement of women to men and of society to the state. People still do not make their own decisions, but it is the women of Saudi Arabia who have been denied everything. The Saudi woman still lives the life of a slavegirl. So in what way are we different from Guantanamo? At least in the case of Guantanamo, many prisoners have been releases, while we remain in this prison, and nobody ever hears of us. When will we be freed? I don’t know.
Oh and I just KNEW that she’d do something on women’s day, I knew it!
I Love you WOMAN!

Okay! It seems like Muslims only grasp the good ol’ conspiracy lingo so here I am “brothers and sisters”, I’m gonna give you a good ephin conspiracy:
I, the mighty Mona, think that there’s a conspiracy going on over there. Denmark thought about distracting us from what’s going on in Gaza and they decided to republish those cartoons again! So that all of you (fools) would get busy writing petitions and forwarding emails instead of paying attention to the real tragedy !
How you like me now? Does my conspiracy kick butt or what?
Yes, yes! start writing those petitions, go on, go on. But hey, Allah ye5leekom, I BEG YOU, spare my email address, will ya?
Good boys/girls!

Me and My 24 years old-nephew at the tailor shop…
Me: (looking at the tailor) Can you make it like this one? …
Tailor: (looking at my nephew) yes, but it will be much longer!
Me: (looking at the tailor) That’s ok, I want it to be longer!
Tailor: (looking at my nephew) ok, as you like!
Me: (looking at the tailor) yeah, ok.
Tailor: (looking at my nephew) ok.
P.S. The tailor was NOT cross-eyed!
