Any where is endurable, but not here…
I thought of flying away, but the window was closed, and someone locked the balcony…
I do not mind cages; I grew indifferent to them…
Still, I believe home is a sweet cage… wed . 15/4/1428

Girlhood is gone for good, and silliness is still lurking inside…
A child cannot help being silly; a silly girl is always a sweet thing to behold…
But a silly woman is just silly, and no one ever taught her how to seize being silly…
So, hopefully time will teach her the things she should know though never told…

These are very deep and beautiful. They conjure so many questions in me … like the line about becoming indifferent to cages .. well perhaps this whole life is a cage that we’ve become indifferent to, or better yet, complaisant with. and our souls will only be free when we are united with the creator of all things.
isnt it wonderful how such beautiful writings bring out such thoughtful consciousness ? :)
the second one is really something. my mind is trying to wrap around these ideas and come to peace with my true feelings. I too am the adult child. and to an extent I believe all adults should nurture the child within. but maybe silliness is another issue all together. Maybe time is will be my great teacher as well.
thank you so much for sharing, as always :)
peace to everyone :)

Its not the prose I am used to, but then again, I do need to stop comparing everyone with (insert favorite poet of the moment here).
Does Alisha have a place she posts these herself?

Alisha,, great writings! I especially loved the part about the “silly girl”..
That was something I always thought about, when am I going to grow up? And today I’m turning 25, and hell I’m still silly sometimes =p..
So, help!? =D

Allen: I’m afraid not, she used to have one but she stopped. I’m trying to get her to blog again anyway.
And it’s Aisha not Alisha :P
